Requirements
Education
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Experience
Minimum of 2 years, preferably in agro-based firms including agro-processing, seed production, and genetically modified products.
Additional Requirements
Age between 24 to 40 years.
Candidates lacking hands-on experience in poultry disease diagnosis and treatment are discouraged from applying.
- Proactive, with the ability to promptly respond, diagnose, and treat on-site.
- A strong understanding of risk and biosecurity measures.
- Proficiency in English is highly preferred.
- Motorcycle driving ability is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of poultry day-old chicks (DOC).
- Expertise in managing broiler diseases, prevention, treatment, and breeding processes.
- Fluency in English (speaking, understanding, and writing) is essential. The ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus.
- Capable of working under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work directly in the market, visit farms regularly, and provide timely reports to superiors.
- Ability to adapt to long-term market work at various locations.
Responsibilities & Context
- Regularly motivate and engage with farmers in the market.
- Navigate challenging work environments with resilience.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of poultry and animal husbandry.
- Proficient in diagnosing and managing DOC or chicken diseases, offering effective solutions to farmers.
- Responsible for creating and submitting daily farm visit reports.
